KAMLOOPS INTERIOR SUMMER SCHOOL OF MUSIC

The Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music (KISSM) has been inspiring young people to follow their passion for music and the arts since 1978! Every July emerging musicians gather for our three-week music program, which is led by music educators and professionals, with additional support from university students who have a love of music.

 

The Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music (KISSM) provides music students with the “key” to the development of artistic excellence in our community. Young musicians who come to KISSM benefit from professional guidance and mentorship. They learn about excellence in performing and producing music for your community. They are given the opportunity to network with like-minded musicians to uncover available opportunities for sustaining their artistic development.

 

Our goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where students of all levels are encouraged to develop their love of music.
