The Kamloops Music Collective is proud to offer activities and programs for kids to take part in from the safety of their own home this Winter. The programs taking place in the coming months were created with the goal of keeping music and music education in your life, even through this pandemic.

Since 1978 the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music (KISSM) has been inspiring youth to follow their musical passions. Every July, students aged 5 to 18 attend our fun, interactive three week camp. With more than 50 classes, activities, and performances, KISSM offers a variety of instrumental and voice opportunities for kids. Join us!
BAND Together is a collaboration between School District 73 and the Kamloops Music Collective that introduces elementary school students to high school band. Grade 6 and 7 students are invited to their future High School and participate in a 6 week Introduction to Concert Band program.
Whole Note is a community music program offered throughout the year to students who face financial barriers. Whole Note supports youth in 3 special ways—through free music lessons, enrollment in the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music and opportunities to learn from and perform with local music groups.
The Kamloops Music Collective offers a variety of community outreach programs, year-round, including Tuba Christmas performances, KMC Workshops, and partnerships with other Non-Profit Organizations. We’re constantly working to identify new ways to bring music to our community.
Modeled after our popular summer program, the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music, Set the Stage! gives kids the opportunity to explore many aspects of performance, including singing, choreography, set design, musical theatre and instrument exploration.
