Set the Stage! Spring Break Music Exploration Camp
Explore your inner musician!

About the Program: Do you have a musically inclined young child in your life? Do they walk around your house singing or making music out of anything near them? If so, the brand new Set the Stage! Music Exploration camp may be just what you're looking for! This 4 day camp is perfect for kids in grades 2-7 and no prior music experience is required!

This Spring Break, enroll the kids in a Music Exploration Camp, where students will get the opportunity to play and learn with 2 amazing music educators: Tina Hebner and Barb Durno! Together they will show off their incredible talents while teaching participants how to play the ukulele, explore world music instruments and maybe even how to make music out of found objects or how to build your own easy instruments! All participants will be able to show off their creativity and imagination and learn some new ways to explore and make music, all in a safe, encouraging and FUN environment!

Participants should bring lunch, snack and a water bottle each day.

Financial Assistance

Gold Black Elegant Logo Sticker (5).png
Finances should never prevent a child from participating in the arts. As a non-profit organization, the Kamloops Music Collective is committed to making our programming accessible to as many children and youth in our communities as possible. Our financial assistance programs have helped hundreds of children to register in tuition-based programs at a reduced rate. Applications for financial assistance funding are open to everyone. Your privacy matters to us. All applications are held in confidence.

If you would like to pursue further funding, we recommend looking into the Boogie the Bridge Cultural Fund (BBCF). This is a community-based cultural funding program established in 2005 providing grants for children ages 5 to 18 who are in need of financial assistance to have the opportunity to participate in cultural programs in Kamloops.
