Financial Assistance

Finances should never prevent a child from participating in the arts. As a non-profit organization, the Kamloops Music Collective is committed to making our programming accessible to as many children and youth in our communities as possible. Our financial assistance programs have helped hundreds of children to register in tuition-based programs at a reduced rate. Applications for financial assistance funding are open to everyone. Your privacy matters to us. All applications are held in confidence.

If you would like to pursue further funding, we recommend looking into the Boogie the Bridge Cultural Fund (BBCF). This is a community-based cultural funding program established in 2005 providing grants for children ages 5 to 18 who are in need of financial assistance to have the opportunity to participate in cultural programs in Kamloops. For information, Click Here.

Program Regulations

Health and Safety Policy

We require children to be 100% healthy to attend the program. If your child has a fever or signs of a cold or flu, they will not be allowed to attend the program. If a child develops symptoms of an illness during the day that child will be removed from the class and staff will contact parent/guardian to come and pick the child up.

Cancellation Policy
In the unfortunate situation where the program needs to be cancelled on short notice due to health concerns, registrants are entitled to either a full refund (in the event that the program has not commenced) or a prorated amount (if the program is cancelled part way through the week).

Refund Policy

We are unable to provide refunds after March 1st . An exception will be made in the case of a family emergency or serious illness. All refunds will be subject to a $75.00 processing fee.
